I told them I could do $1100, just email me the court papers, all the details, and I will swing it by my attorney's office and if he signs off on it all I could do an electronic check with them today. Never got an email or a call back. Never heard anything from them ever again. My lawyer said I wouldn't and thought it was hilarious. But there is no telling how many people give those fools money over the phone like that. Just two $1100 checks a day would be a nice living and there is always a chance that some fool will send you the whole $27,000. IF a collector refuses to mail you a copy of their settlement offer, you are usually getting swindled.</p></blockquote><p></p>
