Thanks, but it ain't the driving so much, as it is the sitting. I can't sit more than a few minutes at a time without my right hip and leg killin me. It's 9 miles from home to my Dr in Killeen and by the time I get there, it's agony. The doc I see in Temple is 44 miles and I have to pull off the highway several times, jump out of the car and walk around before I can go on. Hard to go out to eat anywhere or even at my own table at home without having to get up and walk around some. Sit at my laptop just a few minutes at a time. Walk pretty good and somewhat pain free with a cane, but I can't stay on my feet 16 hrs a day and can't lay on my right side or back. Got a new electric recliner but that's a no go too. Had a referral in for a neurosurgeon with Baylor Scott and White for over a month and they never replied, so going with another one that does consultation/exams in Temple but does his surgery in Bryan College Station. Looking ito something called Vertiflex for L5/S1 and L4/L5. Bone on bone..all the cushion is gone. Bone spur in my hip too. I've had all I care for from BSW. They can go hump a stump. They're just chasing insurance dollars with 'treatments' that at best would only last 30-60 days but so far didn't work for me at all.
