My Herefords on the other hand are right around breed avg (14) with a range of 9-23. This is one of the criteria I used in chosing my AI bulls to this point. They range from 17-21 on MM. As you say, I want my cows to milk well, but not too the point where they can't maintain condition, because that creates a whole new set of problems.
