[QUOTE="Bright Raven, post: 1535437, member: 27490"] 1. Cowboy Cut stamps his calves. Every Cowboy Cut calf I have seen, LOOKS like a Cowboy Cut calf. 2. They all have a small non-blocky head. 3. They all have been vigorous at birth. Up quick, nursing, etc. 4. He dictates the birthweights. 5. They are clean, smooth, solid calves. 6. They have good form. Attractive calves. If you have a market for show calves (I like to sell show calves when I can), he can put some in that market. 7. They remain thrifty and grow fast. 8. Lots of great Cowboy Cut sons and daughters are selling well in all the Simmental sales. Here is a Cowboy Cut out of a heifer I sold to a Gentleman. Not the best picture. But I can look at this 69 pound heifer and say "yep, a Cowboy Cut". The owner was very pleased and commented on how well the calf and heifer did at birth.
