    Heifer and bull calf twins

    I had twins earlier in the year and pulled the heifer and left the now steer on the moma The heifer I bottle fed and both are doing great now and moma regained weight pretty good. I would pull one of the calves and take the load off the mother cow. jmo

    I would assume that the steer is eating hay and feed now if that is so I would wean the steer. I dont think I would be milking the cow for a calf that old. 2 acres is enough for 1 mature cow I wouldn't think it would support 3 unless you plan on feeding hay most of the time.     how long does a cow live

    I didn't weigh him at birth. I could see why you would say wow! I did too never thought he would grow this fast but he is doing really good.
