What is the breed of cow in Jurassic Park?

Probably just some mixed breed cow that the producers were able to get cheap. Probably had several of them to use in retakes. Like the goat in the T. Rex pen.

    Golf Balls in pasture

We had a similar problem with our pool. DH accused our little kids of throwing rocks that ended up in the pol until he realized it was the crows flying overhead and dropping stones No idea why they were flying around with the rocks.

    Last one…… we think….

Wow! Huge predator problem up there! Wolf packs will hunt down and kill LGDs , also will hunt down and kill cougars in their territory. Problem is that LGDs don't run in a pack like wolves - they spread out to protect the herd/flock with only 2 or 3 dogs hanging together. Easy to pick them...

Best Bull to Improve Future Cows

The trick is to determine what you want to breed for. A bull that will produce a high WW may be the bull you want for feeder steers but not necessarily what you want to produce replacement heifers. Since you are concentrating on increasing your herd with replacement heifers now, you should...

    Wagu Calf Purchase

I think Wagyu beef originated in Japan. In Japan 35 years ago a chicken went for $25/lb. Cheapest regular beef went for $100/lb. We had a Japanese high school exchange student at the time and she was astonished that our meat was so cheap and that we ate meat every day. Japan has no pasture...
