    MERMAID OR WHALE

I would have to do a count but it wouldn't be all that many. Anyway, for some reason this all brings to mind that song "Smiling Faces Sometimes" by Norman Whitfield. Sometimes those mermaids turn out to be carp - they eat everything. :lol2:

    Ugly gets Uglier.

Quoted from MSN this afternoon: “The unemployment insurance system before the recession was as vulnerable as New Orleans was before Katrina,” said Representative Jim McDermott, Democrat of Washington, who is chairman of a House panel with authority over the program. "Now the number of...

    The Porch

A blonde teenager, wanting to earn some extra money for the summer, decided to hire herself out as a 'handy-woman' and started canvassing a nearby well-to-do neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house, and asked the owner if he had any odd jobs for her to do. 'Well, I...

    Using Longhorns for Cross-Breeding

Seems to me that there so many other choices that have the same merits as the TLH's without having to have special handling facilities to accomodate the horns. Brahmans crossed to a variety of other breeds would produce similar characteristics but without the horns problem.

    Ugly gets Uglier.

That's thinking positive, Larry. But not realistic. 10% unemployment rates are not a good thing no matter how you cut it. Unless, you have so much money that you can buy out the low sellers and wonder if the core of the earth is liquid or solid. I ran two ads for an administrative assistant...

    Solving Long Term Unemployment Problem

Very good observation, PWwilli3! Being in the contract personnel business, I see this every single day. People that were used to getting $45 an hour, now face opportunities of $25 an hour, if any, and shun them, taking the unemployment instead. Little do they realize that having a job, even a...
