    Twin Calves...Mother rejects one

    Be sure she is eating a good quality grain,calf starter. No need to feed her milk replacer after she is 8 weeks old if she is eating plenty of grain. Most likely she will not be a breeder. If her twin were a heifer she would prob. be O.K..

    Longest pregnancy

    290 days is the longest gestation length I've had. I would lean towards her being rebred if she is two weeks past and not bagging down yet.

    I have been told that 10%of cattle have false heats. I went through a period where I think I had a much higher percentage than that. It usually happens in late preg.
