Agree. Those who fail to appreciate/utilize that aspect of the test inevitably are the one's who can't get a decent sample and or wind up with bulls down from the get go.

That coupled with expertise is & being savvy is the key.

That can happen for a number of reasons and especially with DVM's who aren't skilled in BSE work.

Its prudent to ship bulls who fail a BSE.

Calves who suck other than their mothers are typical of orphans who have learned to steal. NEVER put an orphan with 1st CH hfrs.
