    Putting the kubota to work

you did a really nice job! Looks great. I wouldn't worry about "mud and grime" and "overloading your front axle" You can do run a piece of equipment the right way for most type of work and still do it just fine even if it isn't designed for that task.

    Semi Load Out Chute

I found some plans online from some university I used to build one out of wood. I'm pretty sure it was 12' long. It worked out really good and was really stiff. They loaded very well with it. I used a nail gun and put about 1,000 nails in it to make sure it was tight. ;)

    Semi Load Out Chute

    Skid Steers

i picked up some cheap chinese things a year or so ago. bought an auger, rock grapple, and tiller. Haven't used the auger yet but pretty good reviews online of it. Rock grapple has done pretty good. I only use it for brush since its really light .. i like using it for picking up loose hay...

    Hydraulic hiccups with JD tractor

dcarp -- The fluid looked fine and the fluid level was spot on. I don't think it has air in the system. Thanks everyone, I will do the oil / filter change again and hopefully that helps it out. It does get pretty smooth once the fluid warms all the way up, so hopefully it can come out of...

    Hydraulic hiccups with JD tractor

I bought a used '09 JD 5093 off the original owner. It has 2500 hrs on it and looks brand new. All filters and maintenance done. I got it delivered at midnight last year and started baling the next afternoon with it. When baling it was really loud opening/shutting the tailgate (hydraulic...

    Hauling 10ft wide cutter?

I just read that in some states that you can legally drive a loaded semi with no CDL if you are a farmer transporting your own products. I would haul the cutter, usually with farm equipment you are OK. Exempt usually. I just had a hay wagon delivered and its almost 14' wide and they didn't...
