CATTLE AT LARGE TICKET-COSTS MORE THAN THE COW

In the state of Texas You have to be proved grossly negligent to be in trouble. That is defined as your cows are habitally on the road. The first offense is not that. Our place fronts on a 4 Lane divided highway and I have had the local law put my cattle back in and not say anything.

    Experience questions

    Hay

Not a lot of protein but it saved me during the drought of 1996. I had to pay $35.00 a roll and haul it myself over 60 miles one way. Cows ate it like I eat candy. That is because they had nothing else.

    Head Gate

Have one just like it and it works good. I have been using it for 15 years and it is good for what it was designed for. That is to grab around the neck and hold while you do your thing. Had 1700 lbs Bulls in it and it held them. Had it mounted on 2 telephone poles set 5 deep in the ground.
