    Seen this in bull calves that are 3-6 months of age when they start riding every thing that walks. Not pretty. stichem up and sell them i wouldn't keep any thing that has prolapsed calf or cow. TK

    Very informative dun, I think i will pass it on to some of the guys out in these parts. Milkmaid you sure know how to make someone think. But truth be told i think that the $ value has a lot to do with vaccinating period. Quite a few people around here say that it is a waste of time and money...

    Did the calf get colostrum???? I like to use Wet Nurse for milk replacer. is it scouring?????

    Bull limping

    Our vet gave our bull a shot a Micotil last year after he was limping around for a few days. knocked hiw out and looked at his hooves for any objects or cuts because there was no swelling. Weather the Micotil worked or he healled on his own i do not know but he healed up

    My neighbour says that to deworm hogs all you need to do is feed them the ashes fom your woodstove. The "organic" guys will use diatimacius earth (i know,spelled it wrong)

    how long before bloat?

    just keep a chunk of 1/2 inch hose around and if one bloats on you put the hose down its throat. make sure you are well away from the end of the hose or have someone you don't like hold it cause it stinks bad when the gas comes out. then drench it with mineral oil.

    It does not take long at all to set in. Are they on pasture or feed??
