I remember another like situation quite a few years ago in Okeechobee, Fl. where contaminated feed killed a large number of cattle, but way back then, the Feed Company fessed up to the problem and paid out.

One Ray of Hope is that most all Feed manufacturers have a product liability policy in the event something like this disaster occurs.Still an absolutely terrible situation.

Give your local independant Feed Store a call, ask them what brands they carry and recommend. If he/she owns Cattle, what Minerals do they use?What are your neighbors using? Most importantly, you want a Mineral suited for the needs of Cattle in your neck of the woods.There's quite a few brands...

If there is no specific warning on the bag/label I would say it's safe to feed. Surely you can find better Minerals than what TSC has to offer.

I have not put out a block of salt in 25 years.Loose minerals usually have plenty of salt to meet Cattle's requirements.You can kill 2 birds with one stone by using a Complete loose mineral.

I think you can do better for at least 3-4.00 less a sack.

Hey Walt, what are they selling this Mineral for a bag? Not very good for our area as far as Copper goes, or as a Spring Mineral, but overall it's acceptable.

Why not buy the Concrete ones? Our's are 16' X 8'. Probably a lot less cost than having some fabricated. We paid 650.00 each delivered, from Lawrenceburg, TN.

I dont know of any that are salt free, but there's several with low amounts of salt.
