I've seen people say that there will only be one breed of beef cattle someday. I don't like that but it definitely looks to be happening with the way terminal breeds are getting more and more maternal and vise versa

Yeah that's who I was thinking of. They have nice cattle If you talk to randi you might understand better the reason for terminal breeds

Randi posted some nice bulls and some cross calves (And IMO they use a great breeding strategy! Using charolais how they're supposed to be used) There is also a breeder in Canada that raises some nice charolais but I can never remember their name

Why go through the trouble of breeding in maternal when there are already plenty of maternal options?

breeding maternal traits into terminal breeds and vise versa is one thing that really annoys me! When every breed has the same traits you lose most of your cross breeding benefits
