Nice looking horse. He doesn't look bad. I agree with winter setting in soon he'll that little extra. Be careful what kind of horse feed you give him during the winter so he doesn't lose to much.
Wow! I didn't realize to I looked at this thread that it has been almost two months since last posting. Do you have a new foal yet, or when is she due? Can't wait to see.
I would grind the flax seed before you give it to the horse and mix it with the grain. It works better ground, the system absorbs it better and won't waste out.

Congratulations on not listening to your vet and saving your horses life. All you had to do was change the horse feed. Wow, have you told your vet yet? What was his reaction? Kudos to you for saving the horses life.
