From my readings Grade 2 embryos will more often then not result in heifers. The reason they are grade 2s is because of their development or lack there of. And typically that is because of female sperm being slower to reach the egg, so its development is delayed. I will not flush with sexed...

2-3 days is what I notice here, and I watch them like a hawk. I always figured that a show of blood was a pretty good indicator that they did not catch. But it seems to me that I have plenty that do end up bred that show blood.

Higher percentage heifers here, which is kinda nice because most of my AI calves are bulls. I can't figure why I have so many AI bull calves.

She's a pretty nice looking heifer from those pics. I'd love to see a more natural picture of her so I could evaluate her a little better. You haven't told us a breed, or pedigree or really any information about the heifer or your goals. So its kinda hard to make any reccomendations.

I wanted to add, I think he will work on a lot of stuff so I’d be willing to try him on most anything. Of the 3 ET calves I got out of him the first time, 2 were 90+ lbs, So I'd be wary on a heifer.

I really like this bull and have had great luck with him. I’ve also heard that he is dead now. I’d expect his price to go up a bit. Here are a few pics of mine out of an Angus cow.

My Red Blairs Bingo, and Red Ringstead Kargo daughters have been good. Detour is another one that I like the daughters from. I've been using Red U2 Renown a bit, and I have some other Red U2 sires at KABSU that I plan on using shortly.

Just put 4 in this morning. 3 IVF and a conventional. Cows ranged from 2yr old to 5yr old. All proven good mothers, and a few carried eggs for me last year.
