    Non electric high tensile... Electrified?!

Yep, this pasture runs along the road right under the power lines. Thanks for the responses everyone. Appreciate it.

    Non electric high tensile... Electrified?!

Sorry, 6.8 kV's. Bull stays in just fine with that amount. High tensile is hand tied around the posts, the electric is run through ceramic insulators nailed to the posts and poly insulators screwed into the posts (inside corners).

    Non electric high tensile... Electrified?!

I have two of those, a Gallagher and a Speedrite. Neither show a fault.

    Non electric high tensile... Electrified?!

We have high tensile fence around our bull pasture (see my other recent post), barb on top and bottom, with two lines of electric fence inside to keep them contained. The electric fence runs around 6.8 volts on each line. I was checking it today and reached through to check a line on the other...

    Craigslist prize bulls

His lower legs look short, but it could be an illusion because he's standing in mud. He doesn't seem to have much brisket going on either. The 8 month old feeder I just took to market had more than that.

Way too light in color for me and those ears are too small. Looks like a Charolais cross.

Serious question: if it was a white Brahman and black Angus, could it have that coloration? Or would it be a dilute gray? :?:

    Craigslist prize bulls

Is he standing at an angle or twisted, or is he the world's shortest bodied Brahman cross bull? :???:

    Craigslist prize bulls

I was thinking the same thing. Looks like he's been out on scant grass pasture breeding cows all winter.

    Craigslist prize bulls

I'm confused with the issue here. Google actually returns results for red and black Charolais. Aren't they just Charolais/Angus crosses? Kind of like Black Hereford being a Hereford/Angus cross?

No, not literally. But there is no way that calf is 440#. Had to be the average for the lot.

Sale barn flip? My 4-5 month old calves are twice as big.

http://springfield.craigslist.org/grd/5368909762.html Y'all know I'm a Hereford-hugger, but this guy isn't doing any favors to the breed.
