    Make sure she can be somewhere where she (and the newborn calf) can be dry and out of the wind. Maybe put her in a barn or shed with good bedding, if available. This is because of the weathear we are currently having.

    Keep in mind that the dam of Tugboat and the dam of Jackhammer are both B571 daughters. There are a few more bulls in ABS's lineup that are out of B571 cows and Judge is a direct son of B571. I don't know how much of an outcross Tugboat really is.

    Too bad that there isn't an across-breed EPD adjustment factor that would be able to compare the Red Angus ME EPD with the $EN EPD from the AAA. Perhaps someday there will be an adjustment factor for disposition as well between the two breeds.
