    Grass ID

I’m not really seeing the similarity to fescue.

    Grass ID

Whatever it is, it would be much easier to ID if the seedhead was open. I would have guessed quackgrass.

    Bull nettle

Pretty sure nettles sprout through both seeds and rhizomes, so there's always a chance of regrowth.

Use of Super Absorbent Polymers - Sodium Polyacrylate

You should be able to find a local hay guy that doesn’t use Grazon. Though with the “soil” you have where you are, I don’t know that it would be much help. From what I know over on the SW coast, soil is just a theory, you have pure sand. No experience with the polymers, they seem more geared...

    Home made poly hay rings

The ones I've seen, the uprights are just pieces of the same poly, but some are large diameter. Bolted together with stainless hardware. Don't use ABS, it won't be able to take the bending stresses like HDPE does and will break at the holes eventually.

    Pasture renovation

I’ve come to the conclusion that the ability of the daikon radish to break up compacted soils has been HUGELY exaggerated by seed dealers. The ones I planted only grew about 6” deep at most, but another 4” grew above the soil. And they don’t winter like turnips I’ve grown in the past. About...

    2.5 cows per acre

To get it out of the hands of farmers who could potentially go back to raising livestock. If they happen to create a situation where there is excess property on the open market which drives land prices down for rich politicians to buy up, it's a bonus.

    2.5 cows per acre

No one specific. They want to end livestock farming itself.

    2.5 cows per acre

The real intent is to get more farmers to give up and sell their land.

    Shredder 2 4-d

Here's the label. I don't see any grazing restrictions. http://www.cdms.net/ldat/ldANT005.pdf

    Shredder 2 4-d

I don't believe there are any grazing restrictions for grazing beef animals after 2,4D. But if you know the brand of the herbicide, you can find the label online. If it's straight 2,4D, you should be fine.

    Horse Nettle in hay

Same. Never heard of it causing any issue. Its pretty common some years.

    Foam filled post holes

It sure looks slick. But at $30/hole it would be hard to justify for fence. Unless I misunderstood. Seems like you could hire it done for less.

    What will kill this weed?

Definitely a weed and not a grass. Maybe prostrate knotweed? Prostrate knotweed

    What will kill this weed?

Looks more like a weed that resembles a grass. Is it doveweed?

    Grazon

You bumped a 15 year old thread to warn of something thats right on the label? And you don’t even know if thats your actual problem or not.

    fertilizing a small pasture

I would do the same. Lime this year and HOPE fertilizer prices come down next year. I would also check pH again next spring and do another application if it calls for it.

    fertilizing a small pasture

First and foremost, you need lime. Adding fertilizer with a low pH is wasting money because some of that fertilizer isn't even available to the plant. I don't know about your area, but around here a pH of 5.7 usually calls for 2 tons of lime/acre, and several years/applications to get it up...

    foxtails

In my experience, cattle won’t let them get to the seed stage. They keep it grazed. But then I also find it humorous how some people pretend they’re dangerous to dogs.

Pulling 7 inch driven wood posts? Best way

Like Ouachita mentioned, you’ll get the most strength using a chain and the 3pt arms on a tractor. If that doesn’t work, they aren’t coming out. In that case just cut them.
