We don't all have to be right all of the time. Please humble yourselves and let this topic return to it's original purpose - "Craigslist...

I posted him this morning at $1950. Now that he's on Craigslist, I really hope he doesn't pop back up on this thread again. Thanks all!

    Craigslist cattle

This is a 6 month White Park X Angus bull calf that we have. With his coloration, thickness and scrotum size I was thinking of posting him to Craigslist just to feel people out. My guess is he is 600 lbs. Thoughts on where to price him at?

They had 1 round of shots, wormed and were weaned 46 days. I was anticipating $1.40 for the heifers and $1.70 for the steers which was where our market has been the last few weeks,

    Shocking prices

We weaned and sold this year's calf crop a little early due to the current higher prices and we were pleasantly shocked. Seven total calves netted nearly $5200 after commission, yardage etc. BWF HFR 365 lbs $1.94 HERF STR 445lbs $1.80 BWF STR 480lbs $2.00 BWF STR 405lbs $2.05 WFX HFR 425lbs $1.70

    Current price trends?

From the way it sounds we were lucky to have sold ours 2 weeks ago. We retained our heifers this year and just sold the steers. 490 avg weight on the steers at $1.60/lb. I was pleased.
