I had the exact same problem with mine. She would get EXTREMELY aggressive and knock me around...my dad broke a piece of PVC over her head once and she stopped. A light hit or a fly swatter wouldn't have done anything...just hit her hard whenever she does it....she'll stop.

It's best to not keep using the same thing over and over again. Mix it up a bit and switch between several different types.

I live in South Texas, so I understand your issues with the climate, but if that's your only reason for choosing a Brahman, you might also consider another American Breed. However, you should be fine with a Brangus or a Beefmaster or a Santa Gertrudis, etc.

This halter is just for leading her. We are planning on getting a leather show halter for the show. Any suggestions for it are appreciated. :D

Why do you think it's too big? It is a calf size halter and is on the last hole. What are the advantages of a rope halter? Thanks for the response . :-)
