So sorry :( it's hard to lose one no matter what

We had one this year with the labored breathing ... Vet gave a few shots of antiobotics and a shot of Bose . Everyday got a little better. It's had to guess what is going on for sure. Hang in there and do all you can. Good luck

I would see what your vet says. Let him or her make the call. I'm with you I could not out out her down myself either. Hang in there and keep us posted .

Neskip- wow I watched the you tube video. That was one BIG calf. My heifer is doing good has not went down all week .. Everyday she is gaining strength She even try's to hop from time to time. I have to admit I smile at her when she try's to hop. We are taking day by day. Her momma is great...

Wow looks good. We did treat with antiobotics Also .. I checked navel today just to make sure it looks good. Just curious though will navel ill affect all legs ? Neskip- thanks for posting pictures . Did he ever go down on knees while nursing ?

We thought about navel Ill treated right off the bat with selenium and a shot of ADE from vet. Baby heifer actually seems better every day . She Is nursing great Her mornings are the best .. She walks great in mornings . I plan on trying To get some pictures this weekend and see if you all can...

Fitz- wow 230 babies ... That's a lot of cattle Ignore the comment from bronsonk1 lol that's my hubby trying to make me sell out and move to HOT Florida. He acts like he don't like cattle but really he does :) thanks again for the info I will keep you all informed .

Update on baby today ... She is walking everyday on her hoofs a little better and always seems better in the mornings, which makes me think it is her tendons ... She will get tired and buckle. She is still nursing and does run around at times and them seems to forget she has some leg issues...
