I have a question for anyone out there... i got some calves from a guy that weans calves and sells them and he gets them from a dairy.... they are steers now have had them on grain and hay for awhile but they are a cross calf, they are darker most have a black black head and kinda a brown...

I was just curious, mainly for the reason a guy at work said his dad had bad experience with the dairy calves on alfalfa and oats. i guess he said it messes something up in there gut or something i duno i guess i never heard anything like that before but thought id ask thanks
