    Sexed Semen

We implanted frozen, actually sexed, embryos (not from sexed semen) and conception was 65%. Only heifers took and the couple of 2nd calvers that we did , came up open. There is more of a demend for sexed semen in the dairy industry than the beef industry. You sexed them by PCR ?? Due to the...

    Sexed Semen

We transfered 2,300 sexed in-vitro embryos during 2008. The pregnacy rate was 40%. You inseminate the oocytes 24 hours after they are collected with sexed semen, seven days later you transfer them into the recips. Cheers Lorenzo

Honestly I really enjoy this Forums...and I learn a LOT !! What seems a little funny for me is that we have been talking about a bull that it was "just there", he was the first in a line from the angle the picture was taken....it seems he won in his category but he was not the Champion. Nothing...

I have been talking to our sanitary authorities about exporting semen to the US. Authorities of both countries have talked something (I was told) but it seems the US wants to negotiate other things in exchange (allowing US meat into Uruguay for example but we are Mad Cow Desease free and that...

Good morning Australian, Very intereting comments, yes indeed here we call them Braford  I am FAR away of being an expert but I think the breed is still very open so I guess that animal has a lot of Nelore blood instead of Brahman due to the spotted face. The couriosity is that I...

A couple of PICS from two Hereford Bulls

I agree with you. I like the second one more. I also noticed the twisted testicles, not know if it's a serious issue here. I would like to hear Knersie comments about this problem. About the photoshop, it's a real problem with photgraphers, they LOVE to touch pictures. I have forbidden to do...
