    New Tractor

I would look for a dealer close to you so it is easy to get parts and service. Ask around and see which ones have a good reputation.

I pour an algaecide in my Deisel tank every time I have them deliver fuel.

    First time haying

A lot of balers have moisture meter's on them to tell you the moisture content of the hay. You can also check the moisture content of the hay before baling/rolling with a moisture meter. I would add, if you have any suspicion that the moisture content is too high after it is baled, do not put...

    Case 495 Struggling

I will join the vote for fuel filters. If that doesn't fix it, follow SmokinM's advice and check the lines for a leak or the tank for an obstruction.

    Live stock weight estimation app

I totally understand that, but it would be a barrier for me to purchase.

    Live stock weight estimation app

I would definitely be interested, because I suck at weight estimations. However, I am not big on subscriptions. I would prefer to just purchase it outright.

If you live in Northern USA, the Aurora Borealis will be visible next 2 nights.

Here is Neyland Stadum last night. And a view a neighbor of mine took.

    ATV

Is it gas or diesel? The diesel engines will last forever, however, those models had a clutch problem. I would avoid unless the clutch has been replaced which many were.

Electric Fence Problem - Arching at Ground Rod

I had to put a temporary electric fence up a couple of years ago and rather that use a ground rod I just tied it to an old 1/2" steel cable that was submerged in the creek for about 20'. That was the best darn ground I ever had. Even though it was a battery powered charger, it would sure knock...

Electric Fence Problem - Arching at Ground Rod

But remember, if you have very dry conditions for a while, you may need to add water to the soil around them. Don't ask me how I know. 🤷‍♂️

    Clover Galore

It is the same here, I think it has something to do with the weather. I have clover everywhere even in my hay fields.

Electric Fence Problem - Arching at Ground Rod

I wondered that myself. But he did say he was getting 2.2 at the fence, so I ruled that out.

Electric Fence Problem - Arching at Ground Rod

The whole "miles" thing on fence chargers is just marketing. What really matters is the joules of output. My guess is that the output on your charger is about 2-3 joules (normally they tie output to miles for marketing purposes). The normal recommendation is a minimum of 3 ground rods. However...

Electric Fence Problem - Arching at Ground Rod

There are a lot of unanswered questions here. What is the size of your charger? How close to the charger is the ground rod and is it really 6' deep in the ground? Have you checked to make sure you do not have a short somewhere, ie against a metal post, touching the ground? Pour some water...

    Solar battery tender/chargers

I think it would depend on the size of your solar panel.
