Has anyone used something like this ? Seems like it would be difficult to hook up without a jack being added to the discbine.

Is that for like a MoCo 2pt. hitch? It would probably be okay. Some of those get pretty tongue heavy.
Any discbine I’ve seen comes equipped with a jack.

Yes. A new Holland 210.
I bought it as a dealer demo/loaner. Because the price is right. Its great in the field behind the tractor. A little bit of a pain to transport, hook up and unhook. There is no jack on it. Just a stand. Once you get it hooked to tractor you pick it up and remove the stand. That's obviously not going to work with the truck. So i think if I try this thing I need to plan on adding a
Jack to the moco.

When it was delivered they had a rig similar to what i posted but a lot more to it. Including a jack. I can buy that from new Holland for about 1500.00 and my understanding is it's a bit of a production in itself to set up. Although that may end up being the best option. Idk.

Just go down to the local customizing shop and install a hydraulic lift on your pickup, go from a low-rider to a mudder instantly! Don't forget to fill the back end with a rack of huge woofers so you can rattle your brain and they can hear your base beat decent from a mile away... you won't need a horn then. A set-up like this should get you under that hitch... and those wide tires for flotation should be a big help when off-roading too.

I built something just like pictured and then use a hi-lift jack to raise and lower it. Can get a little sketchy as the jack isn't attached to the mower and the tongue likes to swivel around.
Other way I haul it is lift the 2pt hitch onto the flatbed of the truck and chain it to the GN safety chain mounts.

New mower I bought has a drawbar swivel hitch. 1000x easier to hookup and haul. The 2pt mower will stay as my 2nd/backup mower but it's a real PITA once you realize there's a better option. Ha

I agree. I bought the 2 point on a impulse without doing my homework.
Once I hooked it up a few times and looked at the swivel hitch option. I wished I had the swivel.

I swapped mine from a fixed tongue with an expensive double CV driveshaft to the 2pt swivel hitch and thought I went to heaven. Then got the drawbar swivel and it's so much nicer.
My bad. The drawbar hitch discbines come with a jack. The 2 point hitch ones just a stand as mentioned.
Put some farmer modifications on the stand and use a jack. The circle one just need to weld a short piece of the right sized pipe with a hole for the pin. The other one uses a slide in bracket. Weld the piece that the jack slides onto to the stand.
