Bull Sheath Evaluation?

I have a bull that is 7.5 months old that I have been planning to keep. His sire did very well for us and his dam is our best cow (fertility, weaning weights, etc.) I’m liking him so far but I’m worried about his sheath and wondering if im worrying too much or if it is valid. To me it looks ‘floppy’. I have always bought my bulls and they were older so I don’t know if it will get better, worse, or what. Let me know what you think.

I can’t tell a whole lot about it, is loose and floppy when he walks.
I’ve had some yearling bulls to be a little more pronounced than that, and have had injury issues with them. My current bull is 2 1/2 and I’m thinking he is similar made to that one and haven’t had any issues with him, but was initially a bit concerned.
I’d say ask a vet at time of bse.
From what I see of the calf he looks good.

It’s not swinging and flopping around when he walks as far as I can see. If it is it isn’t much. If it stays like it is I’d probably go ahead and use him but if it’s one of those things that will likely get worse as he gets to breeding age I’m going to sell him.

I don't see a bunch of extra skin flap around the navel area. The Angus bulls that look like a Brangus is undesirable. Would like to see him a little tighter, but he is serviceable. Do his teats come down the neck of the scrotum at all? Those are something that is undesirable as well and seems it correlates to potentially throwing bad udders

I haven’t really checked but I will soon.
 
How big are his nuts? It does look more like a steer's prepuce to me, not a lot of excess leather just a bit floppy. The hair around the orifice seems a bit cruddy and could be contributing to its appearance. Take a pair of scissors to him and a bit of warm soapy water to clean him up and see if that makes a difference.

Who doesn't love a good nut pic? I'm always right down there when my vet is preforming the BSE on my boys, taking pics to show my friends.

Which segues into, can't tell too much about your bull from the pics. I agree, cleaning him up would help. And a trip to the vet for a "hands on" opinion.

I could not get a good picture to save my life this morning. I did a lot more attention today and he has 3.5” (9 cm?) hanging down and it does flop around when he moves and walks.

I have 2 steers in with him and they are tight as can be.
