In all honesty -- it's whatever is on the store shelf 5 minutes before close on a Saturday evening when invariably the issue happens and I've run out.
In my experience -- timing of administration has been more important than brand or IgG value. I bet I have at least 2 brands probably 3 in the cabinet right now varying from 50 to 200.

My preference is Colostrix 100 IgG but I've been in Stickney's situation and get what I can.

I usually buy the Calf's Choice Total Gold in the red and gold package. Try to keep about 8-10 on hand and stock up before calving season. Most years only use a few packages.

That's the similar packaging to the Calf's Choice Total Gold. The ones I have are smaller packages (60 IgG). Sometimes 1 package is all it takes to get a calf going.

Never seen the red and gold one shown above...
Any of the 50 IgG usually will say colostrum "supplement"... not Replacer.. anything over 100 says replacer on the pkg.
BUT... better than nothing. They cost about half what the actual 100IgG replacer ones cost... I have never seen a 200IgG replacer on any of the shelves here. I keep one or 2 pkgs... but also keep several qts frozen colostrum from my own cow(s)... in the freezer... Pints and Qts are quicker to thaw...then 1/2 gallons...... NEVER use the microwave... and a qt down the hatch is worth it's weight in gold compared to nothing... I will usually feed a 2nd qt in an hour or 2 after the first one....
A calf does not drink a 1/2 gallon all at once when brand new....

I have frozen quarts of 1st day colostrum and give some my cattle friends in the area.

I would have to go dig around and find it. I use what ever Oregon Trail Livestock Supply has on the shelve. I keep my figured crossed that I don't have to use any.

I had to use powdered colostrum replacer when my old 15 year old pet miraculously calved a Jersey heifer calf. She has a staph aureous mastitis history. Staph a is never cured. It just walls it self off in the udder and flares ever time they come fresh. Calves can get it when they nurse.
She raised a lot of half Angus steer calves so staph a did not matter. She is old, obese, hadn't had a heat period that I know of for a couple of years. I asked God for a heifer calf so her line could go on. A month or so later she came into flaming heat. so I called the AI guy. Her miracle purebred Jersey calf I snatched away and fed her Sav-A-Calf colostrum from the feed store. Its only 100 grams globulin protein so I gave one package and another 6 hours later.
