Was able to pay off from the sale of the calves. Brought the tractor home changed the oil and flushed the radiator out and bush hogged 30 acres with no oil usage or heating problem. It is 43 years old, 50hp with 2800 hours. I have tested it now, to make it look nice and everything in good shape is next. It has almost new rubber, roll bar with canopy, hydraulics, almost new seat, both dry brakes work, steering easy, etc. No Blue DEF or Regen required and just about every part I can get cheap off Ebay and fix myself. With what I have bush hogged so far, the little 13-gallon tank still has a lot of fuel left.

You will find that tractor is extremely good on fuel. I have the same model for my hay rake tractor. I fill it up after each use and continue to be amazed at how little fuel it uses.
 
LOVE those old ford tractors... I use the 4600 for most all the tedding and the raking with the big 14 wheel rake on our hayfields. Yes, they are SUPERB on fuel... and pretty stable on some hillier fields too... We also have a 6600 that has a front end loader on it.... it does a pretty good job with most everything...

I wonder about TT from time to time. I met him once at Louisville Farm Machinery Show with KT. In person he was just like the character here.

I have spent a few hours working/restoring the tractor since I got it. Changed all fluids/filters including PS end to end.
