Broke the frame on the old Krone several years ago.

The repair. The welder that did the repair did a good job, but it was not a cheap fix.

Will gladly trade you. Only upside is I only lack about 60 rolls of being done for the year. Most likely going to need a new machine or at least a donor machine based on what broke. Got to love spending $20k in 20 seconds.

May not be as bad as I thought. NH does actually have that part. Apparently it is a common fail on this machine, parts guy said it was his second one today and called my baler down to a T as soon as I told him what I wanted. Looks like couple grand in parts and a lot of labor. So if you have a BR7060 baler with about 10k bales on it weld the right side of the sledge roller carriage up and grind it down before it breaks it will save you a bunch of aggravation.

Hard to tell from your picture but assuming the belts tracked to the side and wore thru the sledge frame?

I was getting the itch. Took the disk out to straighten up some hog ruts and start on a field for oats. Blew 2 tires on the disk in the field. Easy fix but cured that itch. 😄

Yes that right belt wiggles just a little every time you open and shut it. Must be how they are made as the parts guy said it is always that same side never the other. He knew how it broke and number of bales on the machine without me saying anything other than the part I was looking for. Never thought it was making contact. No frayed or damage belt edge etc. and where it is you would never see it if you didn’t know to look for it.
