I been running heavy oil in mine for 2 years.Figured it out. Lol. Orbit motor. And they sell a rebuild kit.
Here I was thinking about JB weld or actual welding.
Gonna try some 140w oil to get by for a field or two. That might be too easy of a thing to ask for though.

There's a pump on the side of the engine, and a orbital valve on the column.

Dad bought a rebuild kit at C&L for $110. Gonna do that this winter if the gear oil will limp me along to finish this cut.Didn't fix it but i just keep adding oil as i work. Lol

The PS filter inside of the pump is available from Baldwin, fyi.@kenny thomas Yes. Dusty called it the "orbital" pump/box/gear.
It's where thr steering lines go into the lower column.
I out 85/140 in it. Def slowed it down. Gonna add some Lucas PS stop leak today. Hopefully it'll let me roll 50 to 75 tolls this week, load trailers, then plan to tear it down.
I just learned there is a $40 power steering pump filter located in the reservoir. I wonder if that contributes to blowing seals.
