I have looked into the free standing sets before. I just never heard of them called drill stem. I’ve been looking around for a squeeze chute and alley way with the sliding doors now. I drive by a few farms while I’m at work and decided to stop by one of them yesterday and asked him to look at...
I think everyone misunderstood about the trailer. I did not trade it in for a new one. I traded my used for a slightly better used that I could actually pull with my truck. I’ve actually had my truck for a few years now. I told myself since I was younger that once I could afford a nice vehicle...
Good reply’s. I like seeing the new ideas. I was going to make a pass through on the chute today with a few of the calves cows whatever got in there as I swapped my fence entry gate around and added another panel on it to just make it a big circle and the momma cows they are due couldn’t fit in...
Welp I got it traded in. I actually got $100 more than what I paid and am pulling a new one home so I got that off my mind now. I think I will get the other calves loaded up this Sunday. On thing I am going to do different this time is keep pushing not giving the first one enough time to turn...
Wouldn't a bumper pull put more strain on your drive train vs a gooseneck? I’m fixing to hook it up and go see what this guy will give me on trade. I posted it on Facebook but no bites so I’ve gotta do something with it.
I’ve thought about everything possible. I did t get any bites on it on Facebook market place so I’ll probably just trade it in tomorrow. He has a decently price one but the steel runner that the wood floor bolts to needs replaced and I’ve never done that so idk
Hard to do that to a 75k truck though. I did think about buying an older truck but that’s just something else to be in the yard and insurance to pay on
It's the fx4 package so I'm pretty sure it's a suspension package. No lift kits or anything with factory size tires. On perfect level ground I would say 1.5-2" off the ground.
I have a 19’ f250 FX4. The trailer is a 91 W&W 16’. I had to lower the couple on the trailer for me to get 5.5-6” of clearance from my tailgate/bed rails to the gooseneck frame. When I did that it made it so jacked up on the front end unlevel it made the front axle tires of the trailer be off...
