Thanks! No their not in A/C, and their pen does go out into the sun. I just thought it might be the way/what I was feeding or wasn't feeding to get growth. We also don't wash and rinse everyday. So I'm lacking in several points to get what I need. Thanks again.

I was wondering what the difference in feeding heifers compared to steers? I also have a Red Angus heifer out of great bloodline but her hair is moderate... any pointers? My steer is as well good blood and has pretty lengthy hair...their feed the same way though, does that matter?
