Hi Greybeard. Our zip is 76577. Depending on your route, we wouldn't be very far out of the way. Yes, we have a pen and chute for loading.

We're about an hour northeast of Austin, Texas. There aren't many horned cattle around here. But you'd think someone would want him for pasture art if nothing else. This boy is not the son of our cow.

We have 2 - 19 month old bulls, and 1- 4 year old cow who is the dam of one of the bulls. They're more like pets. Our freezer has been full of Longhorn meat in the past, but we're ready to try a more traditional beef breed now.

We have 3 Longhorns that have been together for a couple of years, but would like to buy a beef calf to feed out and butcher in the fall. Do we need to worry whether the Longhorns will get along with the newcomer?

He's 17 months old

Our bull has a red area bulging out from the corner of his eye. Could it be pink eye or something else. Any ideas on a what to do would be appreciated.
