    blue heeler or australian sheperd?

Had both and I liked the heeler better. The Australian Sheperd I had was just too feisty. The fault with the Heeler was she sometimes did not know when to quit. She loved working in the cattle, but when she had them like she wanted she wanted to take them for a ride and not let up.

    Rain

I sprayed around some of my mother's flower beds and the wind blew the roundup onto some of the flowers. She was not too happy about that. It blows every day and no rain in a while either. A couple more weeks of no rain and the hay will be short again.

Marty Robbins died way too young at 57 after three heart attacks. The guy could sing and race cars.

    Feeders not eating much

    Kubota re-gen

Part replacement prior to engine swap

If you can get them, always use an OEM thermostat. I cracked an engine head with a POS aftermarket thermostat. Your engine should heat if the thermostat is opening and closing correctly. Overheating can be a problem in other places which is not your problem. Put a piece of cardboard in front...

    Mower Issue

As stated above the new carb ought to get you going, and the other maintenance ought to keep you going a long time. If you can get pure 100% gas local it is worth the extra cost.
