Given the choices we have today, if you were wanting to plant grass to cut for hay and graze in the black land of Texas, what would you plant? I would also like to add that I put low cost, and low maintance cost very high on my list. Is bermuda the only way to go? Opinions appreciated.

.14 Nitrates is what it was tested at and 6.2 CP by the lab at TAMU.

I found some milo hay that has been tested to have 6.5% protein and 14 nitrates. Could someone tell me if this is good enough to buy and feed as long as protein tubs are made available at all times. We have tubs out year around to help anyways. Matt
