    Liquid lime?

the interesting thing is that no one has tried it, so all is speculation. I was hoping to see if someone actually has used it, not wanting to be the guinea pig myself.

    eBay cattle scales

Since this is an older thread, I was wondering what anyone thought of these scales (Amston) now. I have a For-most 375 and thought of buying one of these as opposed to the Tru-test. Any thoughts? Thanks.

    Mirafount 3465

A little off topic but since you're looking at putting one in, I had trouble with one of mine overflowing at times because of grit from the well water getting in the little rubber stopper at the float valve. Once I put a water filter in, the problem was gone.

Bez, no I was asking Simcross. Figured you're already up and running, but now that you mention it, what system do you have? Thanks EJ

    solar power

my brother just put in a system that produces electricity but it goes through his meter and the electric company pays him back. He did not put in batteries to be a stand alone. Which route are you taking? here's several sites I looked at: http://www.backwoodssolar.com/ http://www.wholesalesolar.com/

    Sinkholes

I live in central Virginia, Madison County. The original hole I can still see the debris my dad through in there years ago and it has gradually gotten larger.

    Sinkholes

I just finished bushogging a field down by a creek. there's a sinkhole about 100 feet from the creek, been there for years but now I've noticed a new smaller one closer to the creek and a depression that lines up with them and extends towards the creek. Anyone here deal with anything like that...

    New Tarentaise herd sire.

Great looking animal. I was wondering about breeding a Tarentaise bull to Angus heifers, I bought a Tarentaise bull last fall. Now I've got some replacement heifers that I will have bred this fall. I'm hoping that there should be no problem.
