some are pretty hardcore.. living near some now that are.. they can't even have a top on their buggy. all black. They ride in the pouring rain and they have a black tarp they put over themselves.
lived by some others that use...
yea I don't like to look at my other farms I sold. They are not treating them very well. About the way I bought them I guess. Do all that work and watch them revert right back to what they were. terrible.
These one people picked up a place from me..... and where all the field tiles met...
we've been real dry for the last month but now are getting 4 days of rain straight. Should help a lot.
cows were about 1/2 on hay 1/2 on grass here around Mach 10th. Stopped feeding hay around the 20th but then with some cold morning had to feed a few more days. I think I stopped all hay...
you did a really nice job! Looks great.
I wouldn't worry about "mud and grime" and "overloading your front axle" You can do run a piece of equipment the right way for most type of work and still do it just fine even if it isn't designed for that task.
call PowerFlex fence. They have them in several sizes. Thats where I buy mine and they are the best price around. I think I paid like 2 bucks each for them or something last time.
And.. Say.. give me the greg judy discount for 10% off @!
I found some plans online from some university I used to build one out of wood. I'm pretty sure it was 12' long. It worked out really good and was really stiff. They loaded very well with it. I used a nail gun and put about 1,000 nails in it to make sure it was tight. ;)
I've seen a few they are making that one side is for semis and the other is ground load. that would a nice cheaper option.

yea I understand the country.. I'm sure they need to have a little crazy in them to survive in that environment. I move my cattle everyday and I just don't like to go out and deal with some dummy. I've about got them all culled out of my herd so its getting a lot better. My cows are not...
i had a real good vet once .. he used to let me come back to do surgeries and things. taught me some good things. I wish I spent more time with him so I could of learned more.
