Lots of Texas Revolution historical spots between San Antonio and Corpus, taking back roads you could see quite a few down that way. Also, if you have a spare day (though out of the way if going to Corpus) driving through Leakey/Camp Wood/Concan West of San Antonio is some very cool scenery.

Agreed - battery life is great and throws a good beam. Imagine whatever cordless tool brand you use has one similar. Convenient to be able to swap out batteries from other tools
