    I wouldn’t bother with inspecting the foot. I also would not shoot her with a dart gun. She gets too shaken up to begin with, I would give shot a wait and see. Take your time. Don’t think she has to be in a chute to give a shot. Use the other cows to crowd her either in the lead up to chute or...

    I have the Priefert Premier sweep system and I believe it works well. I have tigerstripe cows that can be a little rambunctious at times and it has never been bent or failed. B

    I have been considering just feeding bulk feed myself. Usually put out hay until mid March so it would be about a month of feed. I was also wandering how many pounds per cow for them to get by?

    I have about 20 head of tigerstripe and use the priefert premier panels, sweep and chute. So far it has held just fine. I think a lot depends on how you work the cows. If you are hard on them they will be hard on you and your equipment. B
