Help Support CattleToday:
Many interests, farming is part-time. Have a little less than 200 acres on coastal prairie land, mostly a sandy loam of relatively poor quality. One large stock pond and another smaller one. We run a few dozen Angus and bale our own hay. Fortunate enough to have a property owner a couple miles up the road who lets us bale hay off his land in return for keeping it mown. We fertilize with chicken litter. Any advice or input to my posts is greatly appreciated.
