It was snowing hard this morning and La Grande only had about 100 total head advertised. So I didn't go. B said his son was going so I told him to pick me up any bred cows that came through. He pulled his trailer in here a minute ago and unloaded a 1,205 pound BM Angus cow. Cost me $1,175. He said there was a grand total of 34 bovines at the sale. Glad I stayed home. Sounds like everyone else did too.
DLMS forward contracted two loads of 900 lb steers today for $2.62. Sept 1 delivery
We are keeping the light end of the Casino and adding to them with same thing in mind. Got 7 popping good, empty as snakes, big frame bull calves averaging 620 lbs and $2.66
