the East Fork San Jacinto near New Caney.
* From this afternoon until further notice.
* At 2:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 52.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 58.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 62.6 feet late
Friday evening.
* Impact...At 62.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins with
secondary roads near the river inundated, including FM 1485 west
of the river.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 62.6
feet on 03/07/1992.

Mushrooms! I love wild mushrooms. morales I think they're called. So we got a nice rain and I thought I would go see what.
I could find. Had a total knee replacement last fall and the hip bone sawed off and replaced in January so I thought this would
be a good workout. Apparently I should have had my eyes worked on as I never found a one. The knee and hip passed muster
in flying colors so I am grateful for that. It is getting late in the season and the dry spring may have been the nemesis of my
culinary venture. Maybe next time.

When you back the tractor up just perfectly and the pin drops right in.

The sound of cows munching on new pasture right after you turn them out.

When you get the electric fence all fixed up and hear that "snap" followed by a sharp "burrrrr". You know it's working well.
