Took two bulls and two cows to auction yesterday for sale today. One bull had his feet go to he!! and was down on condition. Expected very little from him. Anyway it shook out like this:
Bad foot bull: 1,635 lbs @ $1.36 = $2,141.85
Good bull: 2,190 lbs @ $1.55 = $3,394.50
2 dry cows: 1,505 lbs @ $1.36 = $2,046.80 x 2 = $4,093.60

Grand total $9,629.96 for the four head. I thought it was interesting that the big bull I used for 4 years and paid $3,200 for him. Crazy. But I like it.

See my 7.3 Powerstroke thread. I bought that truck with money from culls, and my wife a new greenhouse.

All of mine are culls at some point. I'm not spending time or money for a short bus to haul them around in…….not for my motley crew. You should see them in their working clothes.

US or Canadian dollars?

Let Silver do his bragging without questioning or expecting him to supply useful information.
:)
Why would anyone expect a Canadian to report sales in a currency other than CAD?
If it helps, it was about 5,747 GBP, or 10,600 AUD. Any other foreigners are welcome to do their own conversions :)

I'm sure there are hurt feelings because you haven't done a conversion into pesos and yuan. (whimper)

Back when I was riding in the rodeos we would bounce back and forth over the border. I always knew the conversion ratio back then. The last few years I have used 0.75. That won't be exact but close enough to get a general idea.
