Seed Bed Roller

Does anyone utilize a seed bed roller as a finishing touch when planting rye grass?

I run a rubber tyre roller over just about everything I plant as long as the soil is not crusting.
I think it firms around seed nicely and helps germination. My soil is very sandy.
I will get a photo of it and post it.
