Gotta see places!

As i travel i often think about places i probably pass that would be a fun 1 hour stop. Places nobody would go on vacation to, just something to see.
Of course i stop at most Buc-ee's but what else is out there?
One place i have seen signs for but not been to yet is Wall Drug.
What are others? I travel pretty much everywhere east of the Rockies but might get further.

I don't mind gift shops. We don't buy but they had some interesting stuff. If you want to see a really interesting gift shop there's one at South Shore Lake Tahoe in one of the casinos that's actually worth a special effort.

Bambi and White Diamond at the strip club in Springfield, Illinois. hmm... it's been nearly 40 years.... maybe not.
Oh well, there's also the Lincoln Home, the only home Abe Lincoln ever owned.

There was a cat house in Ely that was surprisingly interesting on a college road trip many years ago. I wasn't interested in what they sold, but the tour revealed some surprising sights.

Last Friday i was in Farmersville Ohio, Monday in Charlotte NC. Hazard Ky this Friday, Sparta TN and Athens GA next week. I do get around.

I am by the Memphis Bass Pro several times a year but have never stopped. Actually never been inside a Bass Pro. Figure i would go broke if i did. Lol

Davis oklahoma has a pretty kool waterfall thing. Webber falls I think it's called.

Roman Nose over by watonga oklahoma has cool cool water and cave attractions.

Either place is an hour or two tops for me.
