Don't yall even try and act like you already knew this either.

I had to go into the kitchen and check this out for myself. Whoever looks at the end of your aluminum foil box? You know when you try to pull some foil out and the roll comes out of the box. Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time.

Well, I would like to share this with you. Yesterday I went to throw out an empty Reynolds foil box and for some reason I turned it and looked at the end of the box. And written on the end it said, Press here to lock end. Right there on the end of the box is a tab to lock the roll in place. How long has this little locking tab been there? I then looked at a generic brand of aluminum foil and it had one, too. I then looked at a box of Saran wrap and it had one too! I can't count the number of times the Saran wrap roll has jumped out when I was trying to cover something up.

I'm sharing this with my friends. I hope I'm not the only person that didn't know about this.

i too did not know about this, thank you for bringing it too my attention. as im a better man from it  ............ just kidding ;-)

Believe it or not it has always been there, i haven't found anyone that knew about it.but it sure makes it work better

Ya'll learned something new today? Now you are ready for tomorrow.

I am still searching.

Blood bait. Wrap it in saran wrap before you put in on the trot line. We make what we call blood bait "tootsie rolls". I start with a bucket of Mr Whiskers and my own private roll of saran wrap that I cut in half to get a better length for the rolls. Then I put both halves back in the box. It takes both halves so the tabs will work.

Yeah I knew. Probably because of the blood bait.

  Everyone I've told including me feels really STUPID!

Well I'll be danged .I've never taken an inch of tin foil or an inch of plastic wrap off without making a mess . My wife is gonna be shocked  .

Now I wonder if that is only American Patented, as I have looked at three boxes of things here in my kitchen cupboard, and none have that tag. I could see if I could crack the market with it, maybe make a mint, I'll have to look around the supermarket to see other brands first. As that is a fantastic idea. If you don't hear from me again you now I made the big time...   (yeah, I can hear the comments on that last one of mine, not before time)

WOW! Good to know. I can't tell you how many times I've jerked the whole roll out and had it unwind across the floor!

Well I wasn't sure if I knew that or not son I had to check. I haven't used saran wrap in a really long time but the roll had the tabs set on both ends, so I must have known.. :?

The tin foil I use has the tabs set in place already so I don't pay attention , but I have a roil of generic foil and wrap and they have no tabs at all. I guess you get what you pay for..

Thanks for sharing.. :)
