Southeast la - planted my rye grass/clover mix about 10 days ago. The hillside that I planted has sprouted with a good cover but the bottom portion of the field has not. I plant into a seed bed and the bottom was cut more than the hillside. I cover the seed with a spike tooth drag. Any way I could have covered the seed to much and it's too deep for surface growth? Any insight would be great

You could bury it too deep if some silt washed down off the slope, but I think you'd see if that was the case. Don't know how deep it would have to be to not germinate.
Ryegrass plants will drown -but I think it's something like four days under water and they start rotting, ten days and they're dead. Seed, more like it just washed over to the neighbour's.
