With some help today the first Maine Anjou sired calf landed. Bull calf unfortunatelly, but healthy and strong, so that's all that matters.
284 days gestation, would guess around 110lbs as he is quite soft.

She will be darker shade of yellow, not red. And I'm certain what I put in her

Another heifer landed today. Blonde sired, 290 days gestation, another 110+ lbs.
And one more cow went away from the herd to calve. That one is on 279th day with charolais, so expect another heifer.

Not the worst spot. Easily can immobilize the joints above and below. Calves can heal a break as long as both ends are in the same room and you can keep the cast dry. I hope it works out.
