In 2019 he was voted as one of the most influential people in the military community by "Pathfinder Magazine".

Andrew Bolt says it makes him angry that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the politicians whose "stupid decisions" created the current crisis in Afghanistan, are now laughing and acting "like it's a bit of a joke". "What is it about this disaster that makes Biden and his vice president, Kamala Harris, as well, act like it's all a bit of a joke, it's funny to be even asked about it," Mr Bolt said. "They laugh, while our soldiers risk their lives to pick up the pieces from their disaster."

I can't think of a similar debacle at the moment. This isn't a mistake nor oversight. This is pure unadulterated insanity.

Think about it. The same group that made and executed the Afghan plan are the same people about to pass a $5 trillion dollar spending package.

It is crazy to think they will do a good job spending that much money. Honestly, the scale of the spending package is evidence of the insanity of it.

no doubt a tragedy. can't imagine the emotions of the American civilians still left behind enemy lines yet. Will sleepy joe get them out? We need leaders that will get the job done. the number of Americans killed since the withdraw will likely be in the thousands (both civilians and service members.) not to mention the Afgans that helped our troops over there that were promised safe transport to the USA.

Exactly the same thing had entered my mind as a comparison. What a fiasco, that was doomed for failure from the start. At least with the Bay of Pigs it was a bunch of Cuba exiles instead of Americans. People need to be held accountable, heads need to roll and it needs to be from the top down.

Biden outed Seal Team Six on national tv and most of them were killed later, so I believe nothing is beyond him. Members of Seal Team Six were scared for their lives after Biden did this and they called their family. Read "Betrayed" by Billy Vaughn if you want to know how bad Obama and Biden were/are.
